J - Luke reached 6 months this week and with it my maternity leave has finished. I feel a little sad about that but am looking forward to getting back to work part time and Luke is adjusting really well to childcare. I have nothing but admiration for the childcare workers - as we all know they're poorly paid but their professionalism is amazing. They have a kind word and smile for all kids in all situations and they manage to have up to 4 kids snuggled up to them at any one time. Somehow they have more lap space than Father Christmas!
My last day of freedom was not quite as I mught have planned... Luke needed his 6 month immunisation so we got that done in the morning and by afternoon he was very grumpy so we stayed home.
This latest photo shows Luke's gorgeous smile and that he's progressed from his baby bath.
Luke is a real flirt and loves everyone. He's very charming to take out and about as he smiles at almost everyone - he's one of those babies that keeps smiling until he gets a smile back so he wears down even the most aloof people.
