J - As all of Luke’s friends and families would agree he’s a complete charmer and everywhere we take him strangers think so too. He’s a bit of a natural flirt although seems to prefer older women to the girls his own age.Luke is becoming increasingly confident on his feet and will pull up on anything so he can cruise around the room. His trolley is a favourite but he also loves to push his pram around – quite a funny site as you can’t see him! He has a determined personality which hopefully means he’ll succeed at what he puts his mind to but not cause too much distress for us along the way.
A few weeks ago Luke was playing outside whilst I hung up the washing and when I looked up was confidently crawling up the steps to our deck. I was amazed and now he knows how to crawl down them. We’ve kept up his education of animals with a trip to the zoo last week with Ben and Penni. I personally think he enjoyed our picnic (he has a habit of sticking his nose into food just like a little pig…) more than the animals but G would say that either the elephant or the lion was his favourite.
Don't forget that Luke has his own email address - you can write to him at lukedussuyer@hotmail.com
G - we went to Rye on the Melbourne Cup weekend, and had the opportunity to do a big walk to Cape Schank. The use of a new baby back carrier was absolutely required, and I think that L enjoyed the ride. The bet is on that Luke can walk before December... we shall see. Other than that I am going to a couple of lectures on raising biligual children this weekend - should be instructive, given that Luke now has his French passport!
