Boys and their toys

When I picked Luke up from childcare last week Jack, our neighbour, was leaving at the same time. Jack travels home in style because his dad rides a bike and Jack has a special seat on the back. Luke was just obsessed with it and very unimpressed with me suggesting we go to our car. When Jack rode off Luke ran after them up the street. So my mind was made up Luke needed a bike seat of his own.

G set off on Saturday to buy one as well as a very cute little helmet for Luke. Installing it was fun - in Luke’s top 10 list of things to do is definitely having access to a tool box and ‘fixing things’. G very generously let Luke do a few important jobs.

Then the seat was on and my two boys were off. Both were pretty happy and proud of themselves.

At last access to a computer . So nice to see Luke on the bike with G; loved his smile, so gleeful. Alors how is his French? When Oma comes back on 12 October it will be to launch a fresh onslaught onto L's bilingualism.........hope all is good with you three and with 'le second'. Bises Oma

Happy birthday to Luke, 2 years young today from us over here in the west.

It will be lovely to spend some time with the Dussuyer family when Karen and myself arrive next week.

We arrive on the red eye special on 4 January about 6am and leave again on 10 January about 6pm.

Best wishes for the successful, joyous and amazing birth of Remi and another wonderful addition to the the Dussuyer family.

Regards to Moni too. I trust you are thrilled to be in Melbourne at this time of the year with the birth of your third grandchild.

Cheers
