G and a couple of mates chose to spend the day removing trees rather than pay to get it professionally done. Obvious the lure of the chainsaw and all the boys toys was very appealing. Imagine the delight on Luke and Alex's faces when they got home from Possums a few weeks ago to find all this equipment in the driveway - and the first set of photos just relate to the mini skip!
Whilst I tried to keep the boys away to clear the way for the workers it was impossible. Luke was very keen to lend a hand once he got sorted with all the equipment - ear muffs, gloves and glasses.
Alex was a little more bothered by the noise so was keen to stay away until it was time to rake up the debris.
At the end of a long, hot day for the workers Luke impressed everyone by opening up the beers. G promises me he didn't teach him that trick.
